Andre Kunz Group is the latest project led by award-winning Swiss guitar player and composer André Kunz. A masterful hybrid of West coast funk, smooth jazz and fusion,

performed by some of Switzerland`s best and most in demand musicians. The timelessly beautiful melodies and soulful grooves in combination with authoritative solos will leave your heartstrings singing. Debuting in Spring 2021, Andre Kunz Group will begin touring to promote the release of “Sweet Soul”. This music demands to be heard live, as anyone who has had the good fortune to experience the band live with its furious instrumentalists, can attest to. 

The all-star line-up includes the prolific Andre Kunz on guitar and compositions who has been playing all over the world for the last 20 years as a sideman for different artists as well as leading his own bands, he also released over 16 CDs as a leader, Fabian Capaldi on sax, who has shared stages with international stars such as Amy Macdonald, Gloria Estefan and Donna Summer. Tom Gisler on keybords, Georgios Mikerozis on Percussion, Thomy Jordi on Bass and Andreas Schnyder on drums.

„ANDRE KUNZ GROUP“ ist die neue Band, des mehrfach preisgekrönten Schweizer Gitarristen / Komponisten André Kunz. Die Musik, eine geschmackvolle Mischung aus Westcoast-Funk, Smooth Jazz und Fusion, besticht durch ihre Zeitlosigkeit und wunderbar entspannte Eleganz. Die Songs und deren eingängige Melodien sind getragen von raffinierten Harmonien und souligen Grooves, geschpickt mit gefühlvollen Solos, die von einigen der besten und gefragtesten Schweizer Musiker interpretiert werden. 

Ab Frühjahr 2021 wird die neue CD-Veröffentlichung „SWEET SOUL“ promotet. Die Band mit ihren herausragenden Solisten dabei live zu erleben ist ein Highlight.

André Kunz, Gitarre und Komposition, ist seit über 20 Jahren auf der ganzen Welt als Sideman für verschiedene Künstler anzutreffen und leitet seine eigenen Bands. Unter seinem Namen hat er bislang 16 CDs veröffentlicht. Fabian Capaldi, Saxophonist der Band, hat die Bühnen mit Weltstars wie Amy Macdonald, Gloria Estefan oder Donna Summer geteilt. Die Rhythmsection besteht aus Tom Gisler Keyboards, Georgios Mikerozis Percussion, Thomy Jordi am Bass und Andreas Schnyder Drums. Allesamt gefragte und international erfahrene Musiker.
